Stayed at the Equatorial March 2007 but was quit disappointed with the room allocated even though I booked deluxe. The room could REALLY need an new coat of paint and half the sockets didn't work and some were hanging out from the wall. The hotel has huge potential but need some money put into it. Though the room was a good size and the staff helpful.

The equatorial hotel requires refurbishing also after booking a 2 room apartment it was not possible to even make toast, with two kids that is very hard.

This is a hotel one must stay for the excellent view. It is located on the highest peak in Cameron. They have a beautiful fireplace at the lobby which the staff will be happy to light up if requested. An excellent place to just sit and enjoy the warmth when it is raining or cold on the outside. Though we found a few defects in the room, the maintenance staff were quick to rectify on notification. The front desk staff were also very helpful and friendly. I will always recommend this hotel to anyone and have personally stayed there on both of my visits to Cameron.
